As an absolute last resort, once all other insolvency procedures have been considered, we can assist you to put your company into creditors voluntary liquidation.
Once instructed we will ensure that all the necessary legal steps are taken to place the company into liquidation. Amongst other things we will prepare adverts to place in papers and draft documents to notify creditors of your decision. This is important because it allows us to ensure that the pressure of dealing with creditors is taken off you.
Once the liquidation has started we will take the necessary steps to ensure that the government’s Redundancy Payments Office pays employees their statutory entitlements for unpaid wages, holiday pay, notice pay and most important of all their redundancy pay which may amount to thousands of pounds depending on length of service.
As liquidators we will also take steps to get your business and assets valued and sold so that there can be, if possible, a return to the company’s creditors.
