Nimish Patel is based in London and has over 25 years restructuring and turnaround experience. Nimish is a qualified accountant, and member of the ICAEW, the Turnaround Association, the BACCA and a member of R3. Nimish is also a member of the Ethics Board of the Insolvency Practitioners Association.
Nimish was recruited as a chartered accountant from Grant Thornton in 1992 by Ernst and Young. He joined the team working on Olympia and York’s Canary Wharf project which performed a hugely successful reconstruction of the group, now in the FTSE 100.
Whilst at Ernst and Young, Nimish also played a key role in a number of high-profile cases, including the administration of British and Commonwealth Holdings Plc and a restructuring assignment for the Romanian government’s State Ownership Fund of a steelworks that, at its peak, had more than 20,000 employees.
